Workbooks, Trackers and Journals
Pottery Journal
A potter's best friend for organizing projects. This journal has pages to record dimensions, prices for inventory, glaze tests, and more.
Pottery Tracker for Students
A journal made for ceramic students in a school classroom. Each page has a templte with spaces to record dimensions, firing dates, decorating technieus, and glaze tests. Additionally, a section is present for the student and teacher to self-evaluate. (This journal is also a section in the Sculpture and Ceramics Workbook to the right.)
Sculpture and Ceramics Workbook
Created for use by students in the Sculpture and Ceramics classroom, this workbook provides a place for students to be reminded of lesson objectives, find inspiration, and receive feedback. The workbook includes sections for recording progress on ceramic projects, sketchbook pages with prompts, weekly ceramic artist review pages, and bellwork. The bellwork section is designed to be used with a weekly slideshow featuring a 3D artist.
In my classroom, students use this tool to keep up with projects, and turn it in with their work as a place to have rubrics completed and receive feedback.
